Bakirkoy Monthly Apartments: Plan a Month-Long Stay

  • Updated:
  • 4 min read

Planning a month in a Bakırköy apartment comes down to fixing your dates and how many people are coming early, then confirming the price, payment method and cancellation terms in writing. Booking takes one phone call or one WhatsApp message — you're welcome to write to us in English — and we tell you the current price and availability during that conversation.

This article walks you through the planning step by step if you're staying a month or longer in our furnished apartments in Zeytinlik.

Who is a monthly stay for?

What's ready for a monthly stay

On a monthly stay you skip the furniture and utility setup and settle into a home from the day you arrive. The apartment and the building come with:

  • Your own kitchen in every apartment
  • Air conditioning and free Wi-Fi
  • Hot water 24/7
  • Regular cleaning
  • A building with a lift and security cameras

If you need a particular item or service, ask during the call, and we'll also confirm exactly what the quoted price covers in the same conversation.

Planning step by step

  1. Fix your dates. Check-in is from 14:00, check-out by 11:00. If your flight or move date isn't final yet, say so at the start.
  2. Choose your apartment type. Studio apartment (1+0) sleeps 1–2, One-bedroom apartment (1+1) 2–3, Two-bedroom apartment (2+1) 4–5. Details are on our apartments page.
  3. Ask about availability and price. Send your dates and party size by phone or WhatsApp and that's enough.
  4. Get the terms in writing. The booking is confirmed by written message, and cancellation and change terms are sent the same way. Keep that message for the whole stay.
  5. Choose how to pay. Cash, bank transfer (havale/EFT) or a credit card on site; you never need to share your card details online.
  6. Tell us your arrival time. If you're arriving late at night, let us know in advance. Early check-in depends on availability and needs to be asked for beforehand.
  7. Have your ID ready. A passport is enough for each guest at check-in, and Turkish citizens can use their T.C. identity card. Guest details are registered as required by law.

You'll find a short summary of the booking process on our booking page.

What shapes the budget

A monthly budget is more than the accommodation itself. We'd suggest thinking about these separately:

ItemHow to estimate it
AccommodationThe current price quoted on the phone, based on dates and apartment type
Groceries and kitchenBy how many meals a day you'll eat at home
TransportWith an Istanbulkart; check current fares from official sources
Eating outBy how often a week you'll eat out
Personal expensesThings like dry cleaning and a phone line

Using the kitchen regularly cuts the cost of eating out noticeably on a month-long stay. For grocery shopping, see our shopping guide.

When to get in touch

Availability shifts with dates. The sooner you call once your dates are fixed, the more choice you'll have over apartment type; for trade fairs, public holidays and the summer season we'd suggest asking early. If your dates aren't settled yet, call anyway and we'll tell you the current picture for the dates you have in mind.

When you call, have your check-in and check-out dates, party size, children's ages if any, and preferred apartment type to hand. That way we can settle price and availability in a single conversation.

Extending or shortening a stay

Plans change on monthly stays. If you want to extend, tell us as early as you can; extensions depend on availability and the new dates are confirmed in writing again. For a shorter stay or a change of dates, the terms you were sent in writing at booking apply.

Questions to ask on the call

  • Which dates and how many people does the quoted price cover?
  • Which days will the regular cleaning happen?
  • Is there laundry?
  • Is early check-in or late check-out possible?
  • What are the cancellation and change terms?

You'll find what's already in the apartment and what to bring on our checklist. Send us your dates for a monthly stay: +90 532 655 43 32.
